Visited: Saturday After Midnight

I went to onyx on Saturday night. I arrived around midnight. First change that I noticed was they now charge $20 to park in the lot ( not sure if this is just a weekend thing or the new norm). I was patted down by security outside of the club an in after a $20 cover. A mask is required to enter and another security guard gives you a hand sanitizer after paying cover.

There weren’t many dancers out on the floor when I arrived, so I grabbed a cognac from the bar ($10) and got a seat at one of the stages. This is a club that doesn’t offer private dances, do all of the action is at the stage or on the floor. Dancers started coming out of the dressing room at around 12:30 and started the stage shows. Each stage normally has at least two girls for the rotation of about 5 songs. Some of the dancers go totally nude after the second song. If you are able to get a seat at one of the stages, the girls will come over to you and give you some personal attention if you are tipping. When a girl I was feeling got on stage I tipped and most of them came over to my seat to give me a little stage side dance/grind. Nothing crazy in terms of mileage since everything is out in the open.

Once thing got fully in swing there were plenty of girls (20 +). All but one of the dancers were Black with one Latina. The overall quality of the dancers was pretty good with a nice variety of shapes and sizes. More of a crowd came in after 1am and there was a brawl at one of the stages among a few customers, but security got things under control pretty quickly and got the folks that were fighting out of there. Every 5 minutes the dj reminded anyone that wasn’t eating drinking or smoking to keep their mask on.
