First time ever visiting (2-26-21). And. . .might be the last for a while.

A few days ago, I found out a couple of Follies regulars I enjoyed hanging out with might be working here. I don't have one of their numbers and stopped talking to the other months ago, so I really went into today blind. I live in Chamblee, so I knew it was probably the furthest club I would try so far. All in all, I guess it helped with the day's boredom, but not sure I'll be coming back again too soon.

I went on Friday, Feb. 26 at around 5:30pm. I saw on Blaze's official site that getting there before 6pm meant parking was free. When I got there, the lot was PACKED, but I did find a space. No parking fee. No entry fee. Temp taken and a brief pat-down. Guy checking me before I entered seemed cool. All good signs, so far.

When I got in, I was a little surprised by the layout. Even though there is both an upstairs and downstairs, it felt really crammed. I got a beer ($3) and found a seat on the top floor. After an hour, I was on my second beer and not ONE person had approached me. Now, I'm not delusional enough to think I'm the sexiest man alive, but I'm not bad-looking. The dancers (approx. 30; all of whom were black) were just staring at the guys (who all looked really interested), but none of them really moved. A few even laughed at guys asking for lap dances. One dancer flipped them off. I asked a guy next to me if the girls here treated this like it was prom night or something, and left it to the guys to make any moves. They really had a wide range of body types, too (quite a few were tall; a few were on the plus size; others were either fairly fit or maybe a little too thin). The waitresses (also black) were mostly cute but they, too, were not great. Most would pass by and not check to see if you needed anything. I was getting major "I really don't want to be here" vibes from everyone who worked there at this point.
