Wednesday Afternoon Visit 2/24/21
I had not been to Hi Liter in over a month, so I stopped by around 1PM. No cover, temp check and mask required to enter. I ordered a coors light, gave the waitress $10 and told her to keep the change. Floor dances and VIP are not allowed. This is the first time in years that I went to Hi Liter and did not recognize any dancers. The only way the ladies could make any money is stage tips. I tipped around $20 to the dancers on the stages. I finished my beer and then left.
I drove to Crazy Girls Cabaret in North Phoenix. This club is not on TUSCL, so my comments are below:
Arrived around 2PM. No cover, temp check and mask required to enter. I ordered a coors light for $3.5, gave the waitress $5 and told her to keep the change. Jeff happened to be at the club so he stopped by to talk. He told me that he bought the Bliss building last fall. He got the liquor license on 1/14/21. Jeff asked my why I haven't been at the Candy Store. I told him that I haven't been there in over 6 months since May got mad at me when she heard that I had gone to the VIP with Mimi, Kiki and Lorrie. He said, that's why they call her "Money May." Jeff is Co-owner of Candy Store, Centerfolds and Xplicit. I told him that I just came from Hi Liter. He said that the Health Department came down real hard on Hi Liter a few months ago. Jeff told me that the Phoenix clubs are a long way from returning to normal.
