First Post Covid Visit to Ricks

This review is several weeks old now, but had not been to Ricks post COVID. Had been to a couple other places since COVID so decided to compare Ricks. Stopped in on a late Thursday afternoon to early evening. Usually more of an evening person but I do appreciate no cover and lower drink prices before 8:00 pm. Mask to get in but most had them off or down once got to a table with drinks. Dancers had masks on the floor for most part.

Only the main stage was open as usual. No pole on main stage if you haven’t been and that is your thing. Places is comfortable and nice atmosphere. Seating is comfortable. Probably 10-12 dancers when I got there which is more than usual for an afternoon early evening. Might have been getting close to shift change so maybe some extras for that reason or maybe they are getting hard up for funds. Also 10 or so customers which also seemed above average for that time of day. Anyway, drinks before 8:00 are under $5 unless you order premium stuff.

Dancers today were mostly in the 5-6 range with a couple that were 7 or 8 for me. Waited for a nice AA spinner that was my type to come over. She sat and chatted for a while and had a drink. Mask was loosely worn but down a lot with the drink. If dancers wearing masks bother you I’d suggest getting them a drink for this reason as it allowed for more lenient mask rules at least in my experience here and other places post COVID. Did a floor dance with her for the standard $20. She said she was newer there and I hadn’t seen her before so I think that is probably accurate. Floor dance was similar to past dances but mask on and maybe a little less contact. Hung out for s while and after her set and decided on half hour VIP. VIP is in a somewhat private booth/room but the entrance is not fully closed. Thankfully, nothing has really changed for the VIP. $275 half hour, masks were off. Good contact and decent mileage, similar to what I’ve had before here.
