I just returned to Las Vegas recently and decided to do a drive by to see if there was any change in status from last spring. I can report that the front door remains boarded up as if the owners are expecting a hurricane to roll through town. Side note - a thunderstorm did blow through Vegas today with strong winds clocked upwards of 60 mph+ so maybe the boarded up glass doors were a good idea. Anyway back to the report - I did see a note from Deja Vu online that talked about a 28 February reopening date for Little Darlings and with the Nevada governor suggesting the possibility of 50% business occupancy on 1 March, if current covid trends continue, perhaps there is hope. I plan to drive over there in mid March once I get back into town from Phoenix.
