So with cases dying down a little bit and vaccines going up I decided to take a chance and go to Platinum for first time. My visits were on a Monday late afternoon and Wednesday late afternoon(5ish and left 9ish). Both days I got there valet parking was $10. However when I left I heard the valet charging new people coming in $40(post 9PM). Cover charge was $10(this is something different than follies before 7pm). The same cute blonde girl was working there and a $1 or $2 tip seems good enough.
When you walk in there’s a bar straight to you and stages to left and right. This place is incredibly narrow!. Covid or not this place sucks when it’s semi crowded. There is hardly any bar seating and the seating at the stage on the left is some of the worst chairs I’ve been on. The benches on the left and right side are slightly better and where I Preferred to sit . The right side of the room is way more relaxed but super bright. When I walked in on Monday there was hardly any place to stand or sit. Wednesday at the same time was a little bit more open. Not surprisingly masks are not common here though some of the girls do wear a mask and a few customers. This place does seem to empty out closer to 730 to 8 and pick back up 9 to 10.
There will never be another Angie but the bar service here is great vs the old place minus only plastic cups. The bar prices are very reasonable. My Tito‘s was $7(The bartender told me it was the same price for Tito‘s versus a well)
Girls - there were probably 20-30 girls in here. I would guess more than half black but with 30 to 40% Cuban and maybe a few white girls(daytime). I was a fan of the Cuban girls in follies so I enjoyed it here. Some new faces to me and some old faces. The girls do come out more often and ask for a dance but polite and walk away.
Dances -$10 and full contact! This part is exactly like follies with Cubans being consistent with full 2 way contact but hardly full nude and most girls Full contact but there are a few exceptions. My favorite is a Cuban who is new to me from follies(Karla and way different from The other Cuban girls I met at follies) and another mixed girl that said she worked at night(kitty). Out of maybe 40 dances I had I in 2 days I can only think of one that didn’t have full 2 way contact(and that was at night but 90% of mine where with Cubans) I think if you like small Petite girls this is a great place as there are some stunners here plus a mix of curvy and fake bodies. I didn’t do VIP either time but prices were consistent at 200 to the girl 50 to the house but wasn’t really pressed much by the girls.
Bad note is Bathroom Troll. This is the same guy from Follies and he does an excellent job of keeping the bathroom stocked and clean but man he has gotten more annoying. No longer is a dollar tip good enough each time you come in but he now expects 2+ dollars and complains of a $ tip.
Covid- i’ll be a hypocrite and tell you not to come here and spread covid but I will say this is not at all a Covid friendly safe spot due to the crowded space. I wore a mask but I will be a hypocrite to say I wasn’t reckless when I took it off to smoke or drinks. My opinion is do not come here if you are concerned with Covid or live with others who are vulnerable. If you do come here, please be responsible and avoid social Settings for a few days and get tested. Also if a dancer is wearing a mask my opinion is you should be respectful to her and wear your mask as she is just trying her best to make a living and probably can’t afford to be sick for a few days.
Overall I love this place, it’s not the same but can’t wait to be back!
