I can see why some call it the new Follies

So with cases dying down a little bit and vaccines going up I decided to take a chance and go to Platinum for first time. My visits were on a Monday late afternoon and Wednesday late afternoon(5ish and left 9ish). Both days I got there valet parking was $10. However when I left I heard the valet charging new people coming in $40(post 9PM). Cover charge was $10(this is something different than follies before 7pm). The same cute blonde girl was working there and a $1 or $2 tip seems good enough.

When you walk in there’s a bar straight to you and stages to left and right. This place is incredibly narrow!. Covid or not this place sucks when it’s semi crowded. There is hardly any bar seating and the seating at the stage on the left is some of the worst chairs I’ve been on. The benches on the left and right side are slightly better and where I Preferred to sit . The right side of the room is way more relaxed but super bright. When I walked in on Monday there was hardly any place to stand or sit. Wednesday at the same time was a little bit more open. Not surprisingly masks are not common here though some of the girls do wear a mask and a few customers. This place does seem to empty out closer to 730 to 8 and pick back up 9 to 10.

There will never be another Angie but the bar service here is great vs the old place minus only plastic cups. The bar prices are very reasonable. My Tito‘s was $7(The bartender told me it was the same price for Tito‘s versus a well)
