Fun time at the Imperial
Went on a Saturday around 6pm. I just missed the cutoff for $10 admission and had to pay $20. The club is on the second floor of a warehouse building. Supposedly you can drink at an associated bar downstairs for additional fee. Went up the stairs and sat at the stage right off the landing. Another stage across the way was next to the DJ booth. Decent lighting and sound system. There were over a dozen dancers ranging from 4-8 on looks. Almost all of the girls were maskless. All the other club workers and the patrons were masked. Dances were 3 for 40 and 180 for a vip room. One drink minimum- had a soda.
What I really liked about this club was that the stage work was relentless. The DJ had the girls working both stages and going back to back with sets of 2. The shift change happened without a pause in girls, just new faces. After staying away from LDs for months due to the pandemic surge in California, I decided to roll the dice in light of declining infection numbers. Got 3/40 dances from 4 different girls through the night. Started with a really cute blonde girl who demanded a tip up front for extra fun- unfortunately she moved like she was wearing a body cast and left me bored. I proceeded to better picks, finally culminating with a girl who just had all the right moves and threw in an extra song for free. Great time.
The only downside was my freakout when I got a sore throat and fatigue three days later. Luckily tested clear a few days later. Was it all worth the feelings of regret and stress that week?.. Leaning towards waiting for a shot before I go back again.
