Lower your expectations and its Funn

I travel alot so I am prone to visit clubs near the major expressways. Dreamgirls is located only 5mins off of I80/94 in northern Indiana, so it's at least convenient. I have been here b4, maybe 3yrs ago or so and it was kinda funn then and it was about the same this time. This club is about 30mins east of Chicago, which IMO is not a great SC city but to each their own.

I arrived about 8pm on Thursday night and parked in a lower level parking lot kinds behind deja vu club, which is another SC in the same building that happens to sell alcohol whereas Dreamgurls does not. I have been to deja vu twice and found it really boring, mostly low energy and older girls that arent really much fun so I dudnt even stop in there but I know in the past cover charge for 1 will get admittance to both clubs. Anyways the parking lot in back seems fine, no charge, and there are people outside smoking. I'm not quite sure now that I think of it but dreamgirls may not allow smoking inside club.

Cover is 10 and that gets you free soda. Like I said no alcohol here so most of the crowd is younger. Club is small. One main stage, seating available on one side of stage only, probably no more than 50 seats total. Club is a little on the dark side too. Bathrooms are respectable, no bathroom troll here, this club is not going for fancy.

I did have a mask on when I entered as did the doorman and some of the staff and customers, I'm assuming it's a county or state mandate, I dont know I'm not from Indiana. I did notice most people were wearing a mask at one time or another. It's a small club so that may have something to do with it.

There were 5 girls dancing tonite, all white and young. One girl may have been young 30s but everyone else definitely in the 20s. These girls are more fun than at deja vu, they will sit and talk and laugh with you for awhile just like its hanging out anywhere. The stage show is fun too. There are seats stageside and the girls do a 3 song set, most going topless right away.
