more surprised than impressed

Parked in the lot and walked into Diamond Club and got patted down by the short guy with the color in his beard. When I first walked up he was inside sitting down talking to a dancer and another guy who appeared to work there. I asked him how he knew I parked when he told me $10.. but he was cool, so I did not press it He gave me the rundown of the place that the shift change would bring in more girls than usual on this Thursday afternoon. Masks were optional to enter and and I would say it was an event 50/50 mask/no mask once inside. I sat at the bar and paid $5 for my beer as i surveyed the room. I suspect I was fresh meat as a queue of females walked over in the next 10 minutes with their 'wanna dance' line on walkup . most were AA and thin with a few chunky Latinas sprinkled into the mix. There are are 2 bars and after I got my survey and No thank yous out i walked down to the other. This bar had a few more dancers and grouped patrons and the walk ups upped their game to giving you the opportunity to buy them an overpriced drink (upward of $15) after they chatted you up for 2 minutes. I laughed it off or politely refused in most cases. This thin light skinned spinner found me and we chatted a bit before going into the back room. I was still early afternoon so the lights were only partially on and we found a corner for dances. The area is wide open so, no privacy but no one seemed to care. After a few $10 dances we got a VIP room @$50 plus some negotiation.. not amazing but better than expected. I stayed for another 45 minutes and got a few more dances but they paled in comparison. Worth a return if I run into the same girl again .. your mileage may vary .. I was more surprised than impressed with this visit.
