Got my money's worth for a Thursday night

I came here for the first time about 7:30 on a Thursday night during the pandemic. Parking was plentiful. Came in already looking to take a girl upstairs to the VIP.

At the door was a blonde woman who was also working the mic. I think the cover was $7, but I might be mistaking it with another club. Blonde woman didn't check for ID, but she asked me to sign in on a clipboard. I did happily.

The club had maybe 8 or 9 people in it, all at the bar drinking beer and lounging. Seemed like the kind of crowd looking to sip beer slow and kill time on a Friday night. No one was wearing masks, including all the staff. MC would call for tips after each dancer took the stage, and literally no one aside from 1 or 2 souls was in the tipping mood that night. I had a few drinks earlier in the day and wasn't much in a drinking mood, just more interested in checking out the entertainment.
