Still not sure why #7

I was working in the area so I had to take the opportunity to visit since it is ranked 7th in the Top 40 list. I had read the reviews and most of them were lukewarm, so I was hoping there was something going on that wasn't being written about.

The Club - It's located just off a major road in what looks like a decent neighborhood. There's some parking around the club, but street parking is available too. I was met at the door by a guy that told me my timing was pretty good; the cover charge was $15, but it would go up to $20 or $25, he wasn't sure, at 8:00 PM, in about 15 minutes. He took my $15 cover, checked my ID and temperature then reminded me to keep my mask on unless I had a drink. The club is fairly small with a bar across the wall in front of you, when you go in and small stages on either side. A small shelf runs along the front wall, with a few bar stools along the length. There's a booth with couches on the right side of the club, past one of the stages. Past the booth/couches is where the lap dance area and VIP room is located. The VIP area is just a separate room off to the side of the LD area with no real privacy other than a curtain that I doubt is ever closed. The LD area consists of benches along the walls. In addition to a second stage on the left side of the club, the bathrooms are just past the bar, along the back wall. Both stages are fairly small, about 20 X 10 with one pole near the end. There is a rail and chairs around 3 sides of the stage and chairs to sit in and enjoy the show. In the corner, next to the stage on the right an announcer sits next to electronic jukebox. I got hit up for $2 to pay for some songs on the jukebox, but only once. The announcer in the corner also watches the LD/VIP areas, checking in periodically for which dancers are where and to make sure no rules are being broken. There were a few tables with chairs scattered around the club, but I can see on a busy night there might be no place to sit.

I sat on the left end of the bar, ordered a Red Bull for $5 and started looking around. Once I finished my RB, I ordered a $3 bottled water and drank those for the rest of the night. I didn't order any alcohol drinks so I'm not sure of the costs.
