Talent has dropped off, but the mileage is still pretty decent

PinUps is probably the best strip club in the city. Well, I thought that until this visit. For me, the mileage of the dances and the quality of the girls was pretty good. But like I said it my last review of Strokers, it seems like Strokers has taken most of PinUps dime pieces (for white guys “10s” or near 10s).

I arrived at Pinups around 2:30-3am. The club closes at 8am but most time they shut it down a little after 6AM.

I never park in their parking lot as they charge $10 in the back and $20 in the front. If you’re from out of town, you probably should park there. But I got a spot that has worked for me so far and I’m willing to risk it for now. So I parked for free and walk down to the club. As I mentioned before they are building a new Publix there. The whole area is becoming more residential with modern apartments and shops popping up. I use to work on the Eastside 10 years ago (still do in a smaller role), but it’s a lot different than it use to be. It makes me wonder, how long will Pin Ups will be there? I’m sure the city of Decatur is getting heat on them to shut them down just like Chamblee shut down Follies. But I’m not sure, I’mjust speculating. Typcially when these areas get more high end or gentrified if you will, they want to get rid of the adult entertainment clubs first and create “zoning” laws.
