New Setup

I returned to Breathless on a mid-December Tuesday afternoon and immediately saw the modifications to the layout of the club for the purposes of attempting to keep everyone as safe as possible. There is currently no more available bar seating, but rather there are separate tables spread out throughout the club and a sign on the front door claiming that they are strongly enforcing the 25% capacity rule. I don't know how true that is because there weren't many other patrons at all when I was there. I stayed for about an hour and a half and during that time there were about 5 or 6 different shifts of dancers on stage, but never more than two at a time. When they were finished with their required stage time, they came around to all of the tables to collect their tips, but being that you weren't hit by 5 or 6 girls at a time, the dollar parade was definitely much more tolerable than is usually the case here. Overall there were about a dozen total dancers that I saw and those who weren't on stage could be split into two groups. The first group came around and tried to solicit a private lap dance, but very few asked for a tip. The other group basically sat at their selected table and stared at their phones the whole time and probably wouldn't have lifted their head up to look around if Elvis, Lennon and Sinatra all rose from the dead and walked in the place. There was a little more variety than usual overall in that not every girl was Dominican with a backside you could watch the Super Bowl on, but that was still the dominant type. I would say most of them are in the 6-7 range - nobody was awful but no one blew my socks off either.

Lap dances remain $20 per song so they haven't tacked on a few bucks to the price as is the case with other areas establishments such as Go Go Rama and Taboo. The dances remain rather high mileage and seem to defy the whole logic of safety protocol since it is apparently too dangerous for patrons to be seated around the bar more than 20 feet from any of the dancers, but it is perfectly fine for them to be straddling you and shoving their tits in your face and stick shifting while not seeming the least bit concerned when your mask occasionally falls below your nose which happened to me a couple of times during the dance I had. I'm not sure about the more expensive private rooms, but I believe they are still available and, based on reports from other posters on this site, apparently just about anything goes with the right girl.
