After reading the reviews for Playhouse I had a pretty good idea what the score was before I showed up. If you're coming from the Turnpike it's a straight shot to get to, and there was more than enough parking. The doorman collected the $10 cover and gave me a COVID form to fill out, and directed me to a table. The building itself is a decent size, but dominated by the bar with a dance floor in the middle. The furniture is uncomfortable, and there isn't enough space to sit with a girl and chat - but that's not why most people go there I suspect. They also had a food menu I didn't sample and a free soft drink with my entry (this club is BYOB).

After the girls do their set they do a quick tip walk. The talent is surprisingly good; more than enough types to find something you're after. I was propositioned fairly aggressively, and made my way back to a substantial lap dance area. There was another bouncer there who gave out room assignments and monitored the cameras. What purpose they serve though is anyone's guess; as soon as I sat down the girl was ready to provide extras. I've been to a lot of clubs, most extra free, a few with good reputations for being able to get what you pay for, but this was the first club where there was no asking, no upselling, just providing at a fixed song cost ($30 per). I generally prefer a club with a little more atmosphere and socializing with a girl before dances, but I could get used to this too. Anyone who leaves PH not being happy never wanted to be in the first place.
