The Pony in 2020
Been here several times over the last few months. This club is on the large side, but in the Covid world capacity and seating are scaled down. When you walk in there are two bars to the right and another further from the door on the left. There are two small stages by the bars to the right and the big main stages stretches from the back to the middle of the club and has tables around it. I typically get here on the earlier side (8-9:30) to ensure I can grab a seat. The bars all have two sets of seats. One side of each bar has the floor raised up so the seats are more like small arm couches, while the other side of the bar has high top chairs. I tend find the lower chairs are more comfortable.
I've always felt comfortable from a safety perspective in this club. I've only seen the bouncers need to step in once or twice. The DJ can get a bit annoying here, but he isn't overly obnoxious. The music is a good volume here. Its loud enough for a party feel but not so loud you can't hear the person next to you.
Bartenders here are kept busy so it can take a minute to get their attention sometimes, but you rarely go too long with an empty drink. The bartenders are all at least decent looking too. The dancers are predominately white, with some latinas and a couple AA dancers in the mix. White girls run most of the spectrum of body types so whether you like spinners or thic girls you can find them here. Floor dances are $10 and typically mostly air dances, but if you are sitting in a good spot and have the right girl you can have contact. As with any club girls will try to upsell you, but I rarely get too hard a sales pitch. At this point the dancers I have talked with a few times know I'm good for a few dances and a drink. Gave the club a 6 on price because if all you end up with is air dances it is a 5.5 on price, but with the right girl it gets it to a 7.
