Birthday fun turned out to be okay

My wife and I visited Whispers for her birthday. We read the reviews on this site and decided that out of the KC area clubs that this was one of the top ones. It was a $10 cover for the both of us to enter, which was reasonable. The place was a decent size and about half full at 9PM so it was easy to grab a table. The waitress was good looking and quick with our drinks. The drinks were reasonably priced, so we had several while we watched the dancers. There were some very talented dancers that were great to watch. Most were very good looking Midwestern women. We sat up by the stage for a while and the ladies were interactive with us. We went back to our table to watch a bit more while enjoying our drinks (of course tipping all the ladies on stage each time). We were interested in getting some lap dances, but only one girl approach us to talk about a lap dance ($50 for both of us at the same time). We weren't feeling the vibe so we passed waiting to see if any other girls would approach (none did). We sat back up at the stage for my wife to get a bit more of an experience before we decided to leave for the evening.

Overall it was a nice laid-back club. Good looking girls that seemed to enjoy what they were doing and were very friendly towards one another (throwing ones at the dancers on the stage and having a good time). Based on where the attention was focused this is a place for single guys as there did not seem to be much interest in us as a couple.
