With a $30 Drink Minimum, VIP has gone too Far

I have been to this location in the past and I always liked it, but now after Covid they have gone overboard with the cover charge. They are requiring a minimum $30 just to sit down. They stated it was due to reduced capacity but honestly no chairs or tables were blocked off and no one was at the door counting how many people came in. The $30 includes 3 chips which they give you which you can then turn in for 3 drinks. But if you are drinking say beer, you previously could have ordered 6 beers for that price. Also the $25 lap dance area is closed but the $50 VIP area is open. One girl wanted $50 for the house plus $100 for extras. Another stated that they still get a cut of the $50 and that she was willing to do a high contact dance with no extras for $50, but in all honesty I was already upset over the $30 fee just to sit down, so I did no dances. I had 1 beer 1 shot and 1 water for $30 and spent an additional $30 in tips then I went home. Overall there were 5 girls and 3 customers in the whole place. When she saw me leaving the original girl came over and said she would take $40 instead of $100 for the extras but I just wanted to get home by this time. I had been to two other go go bars that same day and had actually gotten a dance at the previous place I had gone to. The girls were cute, mostly 6, 7 and 8 on a scale from 1-10. Some were Latin and others East European. The place itself is clean but there is not the best parking in the neighborhood. I would definitely wait until they reopened the lap dance area before returning.
