Why the hell run the smoke machine then?

I popped in after finding Dirty's closed around noon. Really, I just needed somewhere to use the bathroom and maybe have a beer. Only two other cars in the parking lot. Pat down at the door. I concur with the previous reviewer, there are signs on the door stating the mask policy and the three step policy... 1) reminder 2) fine 3) told to leave. The club was dark and the smoke machine had be previously ran. Great I'm thinking, maybe someone will be dancing on stage. Walked straight through to the back to the men's room. I only saw two dancers and they were sitting by themselves, while three customers sat together at one table. It's nice to know with all the Covid issues, the job of the bathroom troll is Covid safe. Used the urinal and tipped a $1. Went to the bar and had to wait on someone to appear. I got a beer for $5 (I think it was) and took a seat. One hispanic female, decent body, asked to sit with me. I offered a drink and she declined. She must not really get a kickback or desire to take the mask off? Verified the VIP was the only place for dances. I told her that I did not like the cameras in VIP, to which she replied "they don't work." Last I knew, the little red light worked and other dancers in the past had said they did not like the VIP area because of the cameras. I wasn't going to pay to enter the VIP and pay for a dance just to find out (something like $25 to the bar, and $25 per dance). She eventually left to go talk to the other dancer, I nursed my beer for a while before leaving. There were no dances on stage at the time. Why the hell run the smoke machine then?
