When a dancer tells the truth
I enjoy Club Lido because it offers a nice break on the long drive from Georgia back down to South Florida. Hop off I-95 at Highway 528 which takes you right into Coco and Lido is right there on your left. Easy to get to, plenty of parking and once I am done relaxing for a few hours, head south to hwy 404 and jump back on 95 to finish the trip home.
Lido can be a little slow in the afternoons. But Friday and Saturday evenings the talent goes way up. Coco clubs are topless so no extras, but then again no pressure for VIP all the time either. The club is well-maintained. There is a long “L “shaped bar as you enter. As you head around the bar, the communal dance area is behind the beads on your left. You then enter the main area of the club with two stages. Dances are $20 a song in the communal area and some dancers will offer three for $50, so might be worth asking. Although, good idea to check your mileage before requesting multiple songs.
I saw a tall blonde sitting alone at the bar and she invited me to join her. Autumn came from Orlando. She said she told her friends she was making the trip all the way to Coco to work at the Victory Casino. I asked if they had blackjack and she said she didn’t know. I joked she might want to find out for her cover story. After some fun conversation, I asked for a couple of dances, but was disappointed as they were just average. OK mileage, just not very enthusiastic.
