Island of Pleasant Sevens
In the COVID-19 era, Millstream has stuck to its formula of literally being a friendly neighborhood strip club, blending into its semi-rural backroad setting not far from the more heavily occupied West Baltimore / Security Blvd area.
I came back for the first time since mid-July last night. As has been the case since reopening in June, masks are required for entry and for walking through the club, dancers are wearing masks while dancing or tipwalking, but in private rooms there seems to be mutual consent re wearing masks or not. Unlike last time I was there in July, which looked like the bar areas were clearly not social distancing, everyone seemed to be self-regulating themselves and keeping some distance apart except when a gal joined one of the guys at the bar. Millstream also seems to get a fairly large number of civilian women and occasional couples as customers, adding to the "neighborhood" vibe.
The girls on Saturday night settled into the Friendly Sixes and Sevens territory, meaning most look like girls next door. A few Asian and AA were higher-level material, but most were fairly plain caucasian gals, mostly blonde, some on the hefty side. No complete bow-wows tonight though. They'll drop by for friendly conversation with their regulars or even an occasional non-regular (or regular non-regular like myself). when not up on stage or doing the tip walk. The W-2 status that Millstream dancers have (i.e. employees, not contractors) seems to reduce their rush to doing rooms (as might the COVID threat), but the fairly structured pricing menu is actually a helpful guide for those who want private dances. General rule, 15 min rooms are $90 to the house, 30 min rooms are about $180 to the house, and up depending on the room, one hour rooms are $275 and up to the house, and the tips to the girls is "suggested" at $50 per 15 min, though most expect more. Sadly, the requirement for pasties and the fairly tepid quality of many of the dances I've gotten here remains disappointing, though I have uncovered a few gems since they reopened. I'd say less than 40% of the dances I've gotten from here are "worth it", though, so do not expect high mileage, and anything more dance 15 minutes is pointless unless you know the girl and know that she puts out for you. No one does the $30 one-way sofa dances anymore, and I think COVID has rendered those obsolete as I didn't even notice if the sofas were even there in the back area next to bourbon bar (which is also where you pay for the room upfront before going back with your date).
