Things dont change

I should realize I am one of the old guys now. I had a Drs. Appointment for a flu shot this morning nothing for the rest of the day so went to ATM for funds for fun.

After lunch at one of the last Big Boys in Ohio went down Brookpark Rd. to see what was open. Amber's only place open before 2:00 a lot of cars in the parking lot, the owner does park cars here ti make it look busy. Go inside no cover get buzzed in . The place is dark my eyes adjust I can see about 8 guys sitting at the bar with 5 big screen TVs all showing Sportscenter the bar us full of us old guys and 3 girls sitting with their regulars. I order a Jack and coke for myself and a young AA girl named Jasmine asks if she could sit with me.A little small talk buy her a drink she gets called up to the stage. I go up and tip her sat back down and a disheveled blonde comes up and strokes my head "the big one " not mr. happy. The barmaid lays down a napkin Would you like buy the lady a drink? No thanks I'm with the lady onstage. Get a mumble from the blonde and she goes back to her regular.

Jasmine comes off the stage I was the only one to tip her. Grabs her drink says be right back. 20 minutes later she hasn't come out from the back finished my 2nd drink. No one else went on stage or approached me so I get up to leave . Jasmine comes out and asks why I'm leaving so soon. I just laugh and walk out into the bright sunshine. Same old Amber's.
