Drink, lapdance and leave.
It was a last minute thing. A girl I know from Bottoms Up (still closed) texted me around 6PM and said she's on her way to try this place for the first time. She's not been working regularly since the shutdown except for a couple OTCs with me and, I assume, a few others. I was tired and didn't feel like going out. Looked this place up and the reviews left me even less enthusiastic. Anyway, I decided to go support her new gig. I got there about 9:30 I guess.
Lucky for me, I parked right in front of the door. It's kind of a shit area. They still have their outdoor area set up and there were a couple of customers out there smoking. It's a semi-private fence on the sidewalk with a few tables, but the inside bar is open for business. There are signs about masks but no one was wearing one except a guy I think was the owner, who had it around his neck. There was hand sanitizer on the bar.
This place is possibly the smallest go-go bar I've ever been to. An "L" shaped bar that maybe sits 15 people if the place had been packed, but there were only about 6 guys there. Two poles on a tiny little stage behind the bar. There's a few chairs and tables along the wall, that you would think are for guys who want to avoid the tip parade, but on this night it was non-existent.
Besides my girl, there were two others. Contrary to other reviews, I was surprised at how good looking they were. One was actually stunning with an amazing body when I saw her walk past to go sit with a customer. I would guess 21 or 22 years old. Face like a model. No way she belongs in a shitty place like this. The other looked cute and young too, but it's pretty dark in there. It was hard to get a good look and she didn't move around. None of the girls danced, not even for a minute. And none of them came around to shake their ass for tips. They seemed content to be drinking at the bar with their customers. And I think I know why...
My girl was sitting with another guy when I came in. I ordered a Heineken and it was 6 bucks. A few minutes later she comes over to sit with me and ordered a glass of wine. It was one of those little miniature bottles that come in a 4-pack at the liquor store. $15 bucks. Yeah fifteen. When the bartender came back with my change, she handed a receipt to the girl. I thought that was pretty low-class because it was so obvious it was to keep track of how many rip-off drinks she sells.
