Spearmint - Still Worth It

Decided to stop by Spearmint Rhino and see how Covid has changed things. Fortunately things weren't much different. I did a review of this establishment a while back, so I don't need to re-describe the interior as that has not changed. I went on a Wednesday night and arrived around 7:30. The cover is still $10 and they still wand you down to make sure you don't have any weapons I guess. They still scan your DL, but now they also ask for your cell number I suppose in order to contact you in case of a virus outbreak. No way I'm giving my actual cell number.

As I entered the main area I was surprised to see there was a good number of girls working - at least ten, maybe closer to 15. In Minneapolis they have directed bars and restaurants to not let people sit at the bar, so that area was off limits. Fortunately they also have several high tops as well as another area with lounge type chairs and tables and those areas were available. Looking around I only saw 3 or 4 other patrons. As I walked towards a high top table several girls essentially cornered me and "made" me join their table. Two of the three were good looking and my type of girls. I ordered a round of drinks for us which came to something like $40. After getting to know each other a bit more the topic of dances came up. Having been here before I know that the standard dances are $20 and their semi-private booths are $140 for 15 minutes. I decided to get a semi-private dance from the two girls that I found attractive, but one at a time. As we got up to find a manager, I discovered that they have move the semi-private rooms downstairs. This is really nice as they are way more private now and being a fairly slow night we had the entire area to ourselves. I received a dance from each of their girls and then decided to call it an early night. Of course there was the pressure to do the real private rooms, but those prices once you include the required bottle are relatively expensive at $500+ for 30 minutes.

Overall I was pleased that not much has changed. Everyone is required to wear a mask, but by this time most people are used to that, although I still look forward to a post-covid world soon!
