Pretty quiet, but expected it to be

Been a while since I’ve been out to the clubs, but I can’t say how long because time no longer holds meaning. Was in Austin for business a couple days, and stopped by Rick’s “North Austin” as it was near my hotel. (I guess there’s another Ricks in the area?)

Club is open. The COVID protocol seems pretty normal: masks required for entry and when you’re moving around the club. Once seated, do your thing. Nobody seemed terribly strict about it, but I wasn’t exactly bucking the requirements.

Not a lot of visitors, but it was Sunday evening around 8-9pm when I arrived and the weather was lousy. Wouldn’t expect a packed club. I think there were maybe ten patrons or so in all, and a similar number of dancers.
