A return to Henry’s North after a long absence

I did not realize that Henry’s North had opened until seeing a few recent reviews posted here. It appears that they now serve ‘food’, which I am guessing is the wedge needed to reopen under the current Michigan restrictions. There is a sign out front saying that they are now serving food, but I didn’t see anything other than a pizza box that looked like it came from Dominoes. I don’t go here to eat, so didn’t really explore. If it allows them to stay open, I’m in favor. Mask required to enter and move about. Most patrons complied w that rule, a few would walk up to tip the dancer without a mask.

As reported, this is now clothed dancing on stage. There were only three girls dancing, Suzy, Secret and Angel. Secret looked cute from a distance, but I didn’t see her up close, she hung w a patron at the bar until she was called to the stage. I paid the $5 entrance fee and sat near the DJ and the large stage. I saw dancers only on the middle stage. I ordered a beer which is now $7, I believe that’s up from $6.75, no matter to me, I always give the waitress $10. Speaking of the waitress, she was the hottest in the place by far. I did catch her name but now have forgotten it. She was getting a lot of compliments and it seemed like requests to dance, but she declined. I was approached by Suzy early on and she asked if I wanted company or was just hanging out. I invited her to join me as the pickings were slim. She asked if I would order her a drink and I agreed, as I always do. The drinks ordered by the dancers can vary in cost quite a bit. I was pleased to learn that Suzy’s ‘usual’ drink was $8, so another ten to my favorite waitress. Suzy is nice, she tells me she was supposed to be off, but someone else didn’t show so she agreed to come in; she said she has been working a lot of days since Hanks N reopened. We chat about what she did for funds during the shutdown and she asks if I might want a dance. She’s not really my type as I am a boob guy, but pickings are slim and her personality and attitude are good. We negotiate, she doesn’t mention extras initially but does when asked. She starts at $140 and quickly agrees to my suggestion of $1, I don’t do FS. I put the mask back on, pay the $10 bracelet fee and head to the back corner, the other two dancers were on the main floor when we entered so we had the place to ourselves. She does a song and half warm up. Gets down to business and doesn’t rush. I appreciated the effort, the cover stayed on which is not ideal but she said in these times good to be safer and I didn’t press. I exited straight for the door from the back room and left w a sense of accomplishment having spent $135 and less than an hour in a place that still leaves you with very smoky smells. If I had not nabbed Suzy early, I very well may have left frustrated since the dancers were so few and not really circulating. I will return.
