Very pleased!

I made my first visit to Cafe Atlantis in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada a while back. I used to live in the area and often went to the Cannonball (the predecessor to this club) back in 2007-2008. This place has much of the same atmosphere, except with two floors instead of one. As you enter on the main floor the bar is on your left next to a spiral staircase that leads up to the second floor. I would say there is seating for about 40 people on the main floor. Like the other two clubs in the area belonging to the owner, there is no cover charge at any time. You just have to keep buying drinks. A beer (or water) cost about $7.50 CDN, tip not included. Upstairs is exclusively where the fun happens. Dances (full contact) are $20 CDN per song. The furnishings in the VIP section (along with most everything else in the club) are a bit dingy, but veteran club goers will probably feel right at home. There is adequate privacy and each dancer can tell you about what extras (if any) are on the menu. The girls were very attractive and wasted no time introducing themselves. I heard stories on the web about girls at this club being rip-off artists but that was not my experience at all. My first day (I visited three consecutive days) I decided on a nice young hottie named Katie to go upstairs with. She did not disappoint! I came back the next afternoon and she was waiting for me with a smile. Will definitely visit again the next time I am in town (hopefully once things with you-know-what settle down). The wait staff and bouncers are friendly enough and are generally attentive without ever getting in your face. The patrons I observed during my visits (I went two afternoons and one evening) were a good mix. More of the younger crowd in the evening, with many different ethnicities (much like the dancers). This is no surprise as the Toronto area is very culturally diverse. Everyone seemed to be enjoying the laid back atmosphere and friendly, approachable ladies. If you are in the Greater Toronto Area Cafe Atlantis is definitely worth a look. My overall rating is 4.5 stars out of 5. I deducted half a star for the less than immaculate bathroom facilities.
