Social Distancing at Shimmers

Based on a post-covid visit in September 2020.

On a Thursday afternoon, I was driving back from the casino with some cash in my pocket. I wanted to stop at a club to get a beer and watch some girls. I didn't really have any high expectations. I considered going to DV8, but decided against it. I ended up going to Shimmers. Shimmers is not as nice as DV8, but they have cheaper drinks, dances, and its bigger with more seating. Some of the smaller clubs in PDX have limited seating due to covid restrictions, so it can be hard to find a seat.

So I turned off of 82nd and parked at Shimmers. It has a pretty large parking lot that's tucked away from the main road. I entered with my mask on. Walked up to the bar and ordered a beer. No sitting allowed at the bar, but some seats at the stage. Masks required unless seated. There were about 5 customers spread out in the club.
