Hawthorne Strip Post Covid
The Hawthorne strip is ok. In the pre-covid days, I used to hit this place up, before going across the street to Rose City Strip. RCS is now closed permanently, so Hawthorne is the only SC on block now. Hawthorne Strip is mostly a neighborhood bar that was converted to a strip club. There is one smallish stage in the corner. There are few (not very) private dance booths in the back. Then a few lottery machines, pool table, and a smoking patio connected to a taco truck. Very Portland.
Usually, I would just come here to get drinks and watch the stage. Pre-covid, I would get private dances from one girl that I used to see here a lot. Back then, the lap dances allowed the dancer to grind and touch you, but not the other way around. The prices were the higher-end $40/song or 3 for $100 which is becoming standard around PDX these days.
Anyways, my first post-covid visit was in late August 2020. I had a couple beers and watched the dancers on stage. Of course, masks on and no seating at the stage, per covid requirements.
