Back open

After being closed for months Bristol was one of the last clubs to reopen. Lots of folks figured they wouldn't since the same owners own Boxx Office in Portage which has less rules for coronavirus than Dane County. I wanted to see what the club would be like after all this time. It is only open at night now which is disappointing as day shift was what I enjoyed. When I arrived there seemed to be six girls on stage. I recognized the bouncer who charged me a 10-buck cover and made me go through the metal detector that makes a terrible noise even when you have no metal on you. There weren't many people wearing masks when I visited, so I kept mine in my pocket, but like other club visits in recent months that made me nervous and I never really got comfortable. Girls were occasionally doing stage sets but I wasn't interested in tipping. One of the four other guys was and it looked like interaction was the same as it was before for a buck tip. A couple girls came over conversation. I didn't recognize any from before they closed, which was upsetting as I was hoping to see a few favorites but they were usually on day shift. One girl said many of the girls were over at Boxx now. After 45 minutes a big group of folks came in and were hooting and hollering and my discomfort level went even higher, so I left before even buying any dances. But the sign on the wall said prices were still the same for 20 buck dances and 100 half hours.
