Pleasantly Surprised

With my beloved Bottoms Up still closed, I heard that a couple of the girls were now at 5th Ave so thought I'd check it out. I got there around 9:15 PM. One important thing to know is that the front entrance is locked with a roll-down security gate over the door, so you might think it's closed. The driveway to the right now has a semi-private fence with a gate that leads to an outdoor smoking area and the side door, which is where you enter the club.

Once inside, the place was almost full. It was Cida's birthday. (Not sure who that is, I think maybe a bartender?) If you haven't been here before, it's a long narrow space with the bar down one side and the opposite side has bathrooms, the girls dressing room, and several lap dance booths. It's been a couple years since my last visit and the place looks mostly the same as I remember, but a few moderate renovations have been made. The Men's room was clean and didn't stink, and there was plenty of soap and paper towels. Most importantly, the lap dance booths have been rebuilt - a little bigger and a sizable built-in corner bench. Much better than the old dilapidated folding chair crammed into a phone booth.

As I said, the place was full. I was lucky to find a seat at the bar. Didn't see a single mask anywhere and the bar stools were right up next to each other, so if you're worried about Covid you probably won't like it. The only preventative measure I saw was a couple bottles of hand sanitizer on the bar. Due to the birthday party, there was some free food and cake, but I didn't go over to look at it.

About the girls, well... there were maybe 9 or 10 total that were either sitting with customers or making their way down the bar for tips. The tip parade wasn't bad at all. I'd guess I shelled out a buck or two maybe a dozen times during two hours I was there. Overall, the girls were not that good looking, but I was fortunate to find one that was very much to my liking. A 30-ish dark Brazilian, pretty face, nice slim body, smooth skin, English-speaking and great personality. She looked familiar to me and it turns out she used to work at Breathless, which must be where I'd seen her before. She said she also works at Clancey's. For the cost of a few drinks and throwing her a 5-spot every now and then, she sat with me the whole time with some nice cuddling, hand holding and neck kisses. Sorry, I wasn't paying attention to the drink prices. I think my Heinekens were $6 but not sure about the vodka she was drinking. I also recognized one girl from Bottoms Up. Pretty girl - nice looking. Don't really know her but I bought her a couple drinks too so I had the two of them on either side of me for a while.

By 10:30 or so the crowd started to thin out a bit and there was more room at the bar. Another round of drinks with my Brazilian friend and then we went to the lap dance booth. It's $20 / 5 minutes and I paid $40 to the bartender. Everything was on the menu but I kept it simple - some LFK, played with those beautiful medium-size funbags, and a little DATY. Pretty sure we ran over the time, but there was no rush and she seemed pleased with a U.S. Grant for the effort.
