Made it to Lusty’s on a Thursday afternoon. As stated prior there were only about 4 or 5 places to sit at the bar that is on the right as you enter. There seem to be outer and inner doors but the outer door was propped open so when someone came in or out the daylight would flood the room. On the wall to the right were two small high tables with a couple of chairs that were currently occupied so I sat at the only open seat at the bar, which was the closest to the front door. Also on the right is a modern jukebox player that they seem to feed regularly. I would think some sort of background tape would be more cost effective for the daytime hours, but that is up to the management.
Ordered a beer. $2 I think as it was still happy hour? This looked like an old neighborhood bar with a tin ceiling like they did back at the beginning of the 1900’s. Booze behind the bar has styrofoam cups on most of the them. Wondered what that was all about? Overall the interior was a little worn but seemed serviceable for the current clientele.
First dancer that approached me was Mimi. Rather full figured young women with a very vibrant colored one-piece swimsuit on. She introduced herself and we made the usual chitchat. She asked if I wanted any dances and I mentioned that I just got there and wanted to finish at least one beer. She understood and wondered toward the back of the bar.
