I made a few visits to this club over the past year. Yesterday (Saturday, April 17th) I had the pleasure of making another visit to Pleasures. However, my experiences were not quite pleasurable, and they were just O.K.

I got in around 2:00 PM, and spent a few hours. There is no cover charge in the afternoon. The cover charge is $3 in the evening, and that’s what I paid during my previous visits. The drinks are reasonable. I just had several drinks of soda, which are $2.50 each. The bartender, and especially the cocktail waitresses are extremely nice and friendly, very attentive and prompt with the drinks. I tipped both the cocktail waitresses well, and they really deserve it!!

There were about 10 to 12 dancers during my visit. Some the dancers were really good looking and gorgeous! However, the dancers were not quite friendly like the cocktail waitresses. Seemed like, they were sitting with the regulars or talking to each other, and making their rounds for tips from each of the patrons after they danced on the stage. Hardly any of the dancers came and talked to me except for the tips, and for which every one of the dancers approached me! I tipped almost all of the dancers. Tipped many dancers for many times while they were dancing on the stage. Some of the dancers responded well when I tipped them. The personal dancers are $20/song (which might last slightly longer than 3 to 5 minutes), and these are done in a private area. None of the dancers were willing to lower their prices or willing to make deal. So, I didn’t have any of these dances. The female DJ seemed very nice and friendly, and so are the overall staff. My rating dropped down to 7 due to lack of friendliness of the dancers towards the patrons except for the regulars and their favorite customers. Otherwise, my rating would have easily been 8 or 9.
