CH2 is now open again. ...

CH2 is now open again. It opened either last Wednesday or Thursday. There are 2 stories going around: One is that a relative is leasing the place; the other is that a near-by restaurant owner is leasing the place (he already has a liquor license).

I drove by several times and saw almost no cars in the parking lot. So finally I stopped in. And refused to pay the door charge saying, "Are you kidding, there is no one here, and I drove myself." Anyway, there was almost no one there. A pethetic sight for the once famous club.

I have run into some "former" CH2 dancers at other clubs that say that they are not rushing back. They are having a "wait & see" policy. I also think that no one really knows that the place is open again, however temporary.
