Not the same as it used to be.

I went in to Dreamgirls last Friday night a little after midnight. Paid a 10$ cover and 13$ drink charge. So far same prices as it was before the pandemic.

There was only about 7-10 patrons in the building which tbh is kinda what i was expecting. There were about 10 dancers there coming and going in the 2 hours i was there. Some of the regulars I noticed were Lee, Freya, Pretty, and Diamond along with about 5 other girls I had never seen before. Most were sitting by the DJ booth chatting with each other and occasionally doing their rounds asking us if we want dances.

A taller girl light skinned and skinny sat down with me and started up a convo. She talked about being out of work during the lockdown and such. Then she told me about the dances and the changes that were made. So now the only do air dances for 20$ in the couch area but apparently the bed dances havent changed. Still 3 songs for 90$ with the same rules that applied before. I got an air dance from the girl for 20$. No big deal to me she explained the deal and i new what i was getting into before hand. I was hoping she would push "extra" hard for the bed dance but she didnt quite sell me on it.

Being that I had dances from most of the girls i recognized on previous trips to DG's I decided to just call it a night.

I wish I had a good story to tell about some extra fun tonight but I just didnt see it happening. The riff raff sure picked up outside the building from the time I got there to the time I left which is always something to keep in mind when going to DG's. It has to be the worst block in all of minneapolis as far as crime goes.
