First time in 35 years
Decided to check out Platinum on the spurt of the moment today. Actually was returning from lunch and realized I had just passed it so turned on the little road next to the club. The parking lot, which is tiny, was already packed and valet only. I kept driving and a found marked space down towards the town homes. I imagine it is only a matter of time before they begin restricting parking or requiring a dash pass for residents. I saw some work trucks that had parked on both sides that looked too close to Piedmont but who knows?
At the front door there was a pat down and temperature check. Weird, on pat down, he actually made contact with "little bubba" which I found a little disconcerting. Thanks to the tip from Doc Evil, I had my mask with me, in my pocket, and told him yes, I had one. Interestingly, he didn't ask me to show it or put it on. (Only two of the other customers wore a mask) Most of the dancers had them but only a few were really wearing them, none during the table dances.
The club has already been described but I would estimate it to be about 60% of Follie's square footage with an odd narrow rectangle shape. I wondered around a couple of times and found the pool table and VIP area (2 booths) to the far right and bench style couches along the walls. It didn't look anything like I remembered but it has probably been 35-40 years since I'd been.
