Odd Vibes in Orange County

This is a small club located next to a small massage parlor in a strip mall about five miles west of Disneyland. I don't know how many girls were working but it was clearly too many for a club this size. Based on talking to the ladies I talked to there, I gather that girls from clubs that are closed are flocking here because they're desperate for some income. This might suggest that there are bargains to be reaped here but first of all, the club is pretty small. One of the ladies who tried to sell me a dance warned me that the lap rooms were full and there was a waiting line so it might be a while before she could deliver what she was trying to sell me. She also warned me that the rooms have cameras and that the management keeps an eye on them.

I honestly wasn't that desperate for a dance especially since she did not say anything about how it would be super hot and knock my socks off. I had the feeling that once I got in the lap dance room, I would only get two things. I would get to see her with the mask off (and take off mine) and I would get her phone number. The second part of that is speculation. She seemed pretty enough for a dance (I was guessing what was under the mask) but I wasn't interested in the other thing. I told her I didn't have time to wait around for a dance and she agreeably split for another customer.

I'd paid $20 to get in and got one drink for it, plus I was generous with the tip money but the whole mood was just too strange. The girls and other customers in masks mean you can't forget about the pandemic for very long.
