Finally a worth while evening!
Let’s start with the changes: There is a fence around the parking lot. COVID has caused fewer dancers to be on stage at the same time (usually 2 ofthe 3 stages are empty, but occasionally 2 are full). Half the VIP can only be utilized at any time. Aside from that, same ol’ Henry’s.
As mentioned above, there are 3 stages. $5 cover and if you want to come back later in the day or go to Bogart’s, ask the door guy and he’ll give you a pass. Drinks are $6.5-$10 and you’ll be asked to buy one right away. They seem to immediately have $5 specials after your first drink. Could be a coincidence, but I feel the specials always pause until people who just arrived get their first drink. That being said, since reopening, the specials seem a bit more spread out. They have food, but I’ve never ordered. Seems like the dancers eat more than the clients. Smoky as all hell and you’ll have to wash your clothes if you spend more than 5 minutes inside. VIP is barebones, but private. Smaaaaaall booth with a curtain, 3’x3.5’ish.
Before they closed, they were pretty consistent. I find that there were cycles of dancers. Seems like a better bunch would be at Henry’s for a while and then it would die down and Bogart’s would be a better bet. That being said, you could almost always find some consistent dancers at both. My experience has been that Wednesday’s are always rough. Usually $10 Monday’s and weekends are best. The dancer quality usually broke down into thirds. 1/3 have no business dancing, 1/3 meh, and 1/3 potentially worth while. Usually nothing to high end, but sometimes a diamond will visit the rough. 90% of the time you can get whatever you are looking for except the few that just do dances or if newcomers are trying the place out. Prices are always very reasonable compared to just about anywhere else.
