I felt like a strip club virgin.

i met my friend michael at his third favorite place... the golf course. hung with him on the back nine and finished with hardy any light left. so we went to his forth favorite place... taboo in anaheim. free parking, $10 entry and free drink. I have never been there before so I really don’t know if that’s normal. walked in, sat down and watched the floor show and stage work by a bunch of girls that honestly did not appeal to me much. (In the afternoon I had driven up from tj of spending a few nights in Zona Norte Tijuana with all closed clubs and an overall weak choice of girls. none of my favored girls were working. still had a good time and enjoyed a few girls of the type that i like... ) back to taboo. there may have been a dozen girls working... but i did not count. only three were anything close to thin... my friend Michael loves the plus size girls. thus his like for taboo.

physical details of the club are as follows... after the entry you walk down a long haul and come out at stage right of a large square stage with a single pole. behind the freestanding stage is the bar and 3/4 the way around the rest of the square stage is the seating area and booths. there was absolutely no restriction this night on where to sit or any requirement for a mask. It seemed that the VIP booth which offered privacy with a sheer curtain were behind all this seating area. The restroom was very clean and spacious and off to what seem to be the south side of the stage area long with a vending machine or two.

I wasn’t paying attention as to what the drink prices were nor was I really up to speed with the dance prices but it seemed like it was $20 for a topless dance and maybe $40 for a nude dance and I wouldn’t be surprised if that’s just for one song. I do remember they were pushing hard to buy a 15 minute VIP dance which I think was $100 (again just for 15 minutes.) I was a cheapskate and felt no desire to have any dances but I did tip a few girls some singles .

I suppose bottom line is when I go here again to taboo? I would either have to be fairly tanked up or actually know a desirable dancer that I want to see and interact with. I will not call it a waste of time because it was fun spiking our drinks when we stepped outside and got fairly blasted by the time we left. thank God for Uber.
