Visited ‘The Inner Room’, Cocoa Beach in the afternoon on Tuesday March 10th (I think I have the correct date). The 2nd remodeled section was still NOT completed, yet. It seemed like a normal afternoon at The Inner Room. Then the management announced that they would be closing at 5:00 p.m. because of the orders that Florida Governor DeSantis issued Executive Order 20-52, declaring a State of Emergency for COVID-19, and all clubs & bars would be closed until further notice. Most people were in a state of shock or disbelief. The employees, especially had not idea what they were going to do. Normal activities continued, thereafter. Music, drinking, dancing and viewing. Of course, the viewing is the best part. Well, the up close and personal dancing is really the BEST part. The $5.00 bar side dances are always a great value! The couch dances are much more personal and well worth the fare. I enjoyed my 'LAST DANCE'. It is very sad that the Chinese Communist Government seemed to allow this virus to become a world wide pandemic. I feel very sorry for the hard-working individuals who depend on their day to day moneys to stay alive. It will be very difficult to rebound from this huge financial hole it has put us all me. May we all stay safe and open up our economy soon.
