One of the best if you like to touch

I am looking forward to the Pearl and OSC opening up again. It is one of the best mileage places on the East Coast. I usually go on a Friday, Saturday or Sunday. I try to arrive about 4:30.... a little earlier on Sundays especially during the NFL season or when the Sixers are playing. The entertainment will start off slow with only three or four dancers dressed and ready for action, but about 5:00 a steady stream of talent wii arrive. One of these best place to sit during this early hour is in the center of the upstairs bench. Not real comfortable, but you get to check out the talent as they arrive and see who you want to spend your money on. The girls head right to the Ladies Room or dress in the small haaway that leads to the Gents, When they come out on to the floor, they usually troll down the second floor room to see who is there. Any regulars? On Sundays a few of the girls go straight to the old pool table room past the juke box , and change into their dance costumes there.

As others have mentioned, there are usually 12 to 15 dancers there on a weekday in the early evening. If things are slow and guys are not spending money some of the impatient dancers will pack their bags and leave. Some come back after picking up Supper across the street. On Sundays the crowd and the numer of dancers just keep growing.

As others have mentioned, this can be very high mileage place. Other younger dancers are new at the game and can be more reserved. I had a 19 or 20 year old tell me once, "I,be never done this before" as she lowered her thong and invited my hand in between her upper thighs. Older more seasoned dancers can be more aggressive and then ask for a tip. The standard rate is 5 dollars a song, but the girls do expect a bonus for "putting out". They tried to up the dance fee to 8 bucks, last year but the girls' income must have gone down so they went back to 5. Let's keep it that way by rewarding extra effort. That way you can sample the talent and reward those wo go beyond the other topless places in town.

The cover charge is still $10 dollars. The beer is cheap. I have never had a mixed drink, but some of the dancers hanging out with me have. They can be $12 or more. There is a private room upstairs...$20 for four songs. Also as others have indicated the seats upstairs and down ar the far far end from the staircase can lead to special moments.

If you have never been,try it. Even if you are European or Asian, you be welcome. But almost all the dancers are AA. Sometimes on weekends an outdoor babacue is served. Good food!
