Hello All, first time caller long time caller long time listener. The downer is closed right now — along with most clubs — so this is a composite review of three Saturday nights this year.

Being from WNY getting over to the Downer is easy enough but requires a passport or an enhanced drivers license. A Nexus card helps for the Downer as well as the Hong Kong but that’s another story for another day.

I personally like the Seneca Niagara casino on the American side of the falls and from there it’s a short 10-15 minute walk to Canadian customs on the other side of the rainbow bridge. From there walk (1 min) directly across River road to the front of the Sheraton hotel / Hard Rock Cafe signage and jump in a taxi, a that point it’s a quick 10 minutes and $20 Canadian to the Downer.
