Her Gringo

With my visit last Sunday to Cheetah Hallandale, I’ve now visited all 3 South Florida locations - WPB, Pompano. Despite some basic similarities (the name, lap prices, drink prices) each of them are very different where it matters - club vibe and girls.

Where WPB is pretty tame and regulars-oriented, and Pompano has a fairly friendly vibe (and the best $10 table dances of the three clubs, plus a nice variety of girls), Hallandale is, shall we say, more adventurous (not “friendly” in a Pompano way, unless you have the bucks). Especially for a non-Latino such as myself.

Once you pay your $5 cover and go through the door (interestingly the bathroom is off the entrance area as well), you will find two rectangular bars, one near and one far, each with a stage in the middle - this seems to be a Cheetah trademark in SoFla, except here it’s two bar/stage setups, not just one. Plus 2 smaller stand-alone stages. I saw about 25-30 girls, easily 50 guys. The males were mainly AA and Latino. The women were a parade of dark and moderately dark-hair Latinas. No pretensions of variety as with Scarlett’s or even Tootsie’s.
