Not Worth A Drive, But Worth A Stop If You Are In The Area

Although it seems to be in a fairly new building, this place has the charm of a hole-in-the-wall dive. It’s just off Route112, so it’s easily accessible. There were only a couple of cars in the parking lot when I arrived at about 11:00 p.m. There was no doorman and no cover.

The club is basically an open, square room. The bar is to the left, stage in the center, seating to the right of the stage, and a row of curtained dance booths line the far right wall. There is a bank of video gambling machines against the back wall. To the right of the row of gambling machines is a stairwell that goes down to a basement area almost as big as the club upstairs, but it is vacant. This is where the restrooms are.

When I walked in, there were only two customers, one of which was talking to the only dancer, a chubby, youngish looking black girl. I took a seat at the bar and ordered a Budweiser for $6.50 CAD (about $4.875 US). Not a bad deal.
