Too smoky for us to enjoy

Out on the town drinking this evening and the wife and I decided to stop in and check out Centerfolds. We were treated well by staff from the time we walked through the door until the time we left. Most of the dancers I saw were very similar body types...spinner types. Not really what I'm attracted to. But we hung out hoping that something special would catch our eye. Unfortunately, we could barely see the stage for all of the cigarette smoke. Neither of us smoke and, with most places now keeping the smoking outside, it was startling how something that used to be such a regular thing in bars and clubs can shock the senses so badly. After adding in a occasional burst from a fog machine on top of the smoking, we just couldn't enjoy it. We were a couple of rows back from the stage and felt like we couldn't get a good look at any of the dancers. The club itself looked well taken care of inside, despite looking a bit neglected on the outside. Beer prices were reasonable. I was surprised to walk in the bathroom and be greeted by an attendant. At first thought, it was a bit annoying, but then it crossed my mind that everyone is starting to freak out about the coronavirus and here's a dude squirting soap in my hands....I can dig that. There were also multiple couples in the club, so women appeared welcome...at least with a male partner - I'm not sure about alone. Overall, it seemed like it could be a decent place to enjoy a show if you can get past the smoke, but it was a deal killer for my wife.
