Sapphire / LeRouge on a Tuesday night

I get weekly emails invites from ‘Le Rouge Lounge’ , which is supposed to be an iteration of Lido Room and is currently located at Sapphire. I got there a little after 8 and showed them my email, but not sure I made any difference. Cover was $20, sometimes the email allows you a free drink or free dance before 10p but on this visit it did not.

The doorman was really friendly, the front door girl was friendly and hot and the interior was dark and upscale. Bar was to the right, stage straight ahead but in Lido style girls were hanging out at the bar versus on stage. I headed to the bar and got a beer ($10, not bad). Maybe two or three customers there when I walked in and probably half a dozen girls visible. A very attractive dark haired Russian girl in her late 20’s came over and introduced herself. While unlike Lido, this was her main gig, she was happy to sit and talk and able to engage in a nice conversation that was pleasant and entertaining. No pressure for dances, but we eventually made our way back to the VIP area to the left of the bar. The area had multiple couches, but we were the only ones there, so it was semi-private with sheer curtains separating the area from the rest of the room. We did four or five dances at $20 each and no one checked in. Not super high mileage but good grinding and two way contact.

We went back to the bar and another dancer came to talk to us, a very cute girl from Queens of Greek heritage. She was lovely and fun to talk to and again no pressure for dances. She eventually as a regular come in and they went for dances while I had another beer before heading out. By in the time I left there were probably 8 to 10 girls there, mostly 7’s and 8’s, mostly white.
