A Lot of Money Wasted

Finally made a visit after the wall came down. The owner has put a lot of money in the place, but I doubt he will generate much of a return. The screens over the bar and the stage are impressive, but I don’t understand the value. I don’t go to a club to watch a screen. Having a camera focused on the stage makes no sense. Seating is limited, but the did get rid of the benches that were worn out. The new layout offers no privacy. Some of the dance areas are behind the stage, so guests sitting at the bar not only see the stage, but also the lap dances. Strange.

The afternoon dances are still $10, but I found the mileage to be minimal. The dancers seem to be afraid of getting fired as there have been a few of the old dancers that were fired. Probably still better than the other clubs in the area, but not a lot of fun. The best dance I had was with a Cuban girl that spoke no English. She stayed on the phone most of the time since she could not talk to anyone. The quality of the dancers was about the same as previous visits. Some good and some that need to find another line of work.

$5 for a domestic beer and the bar service was good. There was not a waitress working the floor on my visit.
