Below average friday

Columbus gold has been my regular local club, lately, with occasional trips next door to Vanity. The club still is it's same pretentious self, and still has the distracting early 90's music visuals that Windows used to put behind songs. Last few visits the parking lot has been full, but the club not nearly as full. At most 30 customers and 12 to 16 dancers.

Dance prices are still $25 a song. Fifteen minutes for $150, which is in one of the side open areas in the main lap dance area, or in the back where the $300 / 30 mins and $600 / hr dances are given, if the two side ones are occupied. They also advertise a 3 for $99 special, never tried it, but I suspect it's in the same area, and not worth it since the club averages about 3 songs every ten minutes. The last few visits, both here and next door at Vanity, the unneeded bathroom attendants were missing. Hopefully this stays that way for a while, especially at CG where the small bathroom can get a bit crowded as people wait around the sink for the attendant who is often talking on the phone, which blocks others trying to get in and out of the restroom.

Lately, the main reason I go is because even if the visit is disappointing I can still watch a few games on the many TV's near the bar, and towards the back of the club. This visit was one of those days, with an occasional decent dancer on stage, although the stupid background visuals often make it hard to see the dancers, and being close to the stage they can be even more annoying.
