At long last

As a strip club fan and not a fan of gentleman's clubs I like to search for of beat places such as V-jah's in New York, enjoying the rural vibe. This place is in Maine, which is remote and in a remote part of Maine. Very few reasons to ever be there and depite hoping to go for years I have yet to be able to. Thursday dawns with the promise of heavy wet snow everywhere in New England except Sugarloaf in far northern Maine who ended up with 18" of fluffy snow. Up at 3:45 ama with wife and a mere 245 miles later we are skiing one of the best days ever. 45 Miles to ur hotel and by 6:30 wife announces she wants 12 hours of sleep and I say do you mind if....which she does not.

Get to the club at 8:20. 8 cars in the bumpy lot, but plenty of spaces. Walk in and cover is $10.00. Cavernous room, looking like a big VFW bar. Tiny bar with 5 stools to the left, bathrooms to the right. Pool tables in front of the bar, a row of Comfortable seats along the wall to the left and the dressing room and "private area" makes up the rest. The private area is not private imo and the $10 cost does not. again imo, get you a better dance and must be for the shy. DJ up in the back and being Maine, there was no waitress and the DJ would clear tables.

Mainers are different than other New Englanders and we call them "Mainiacs" in awe and recognition. Their woem nare seldom what we consider spectacular, but they are always at least pleasant looking and no women in america have a better, cooler, more laid back avenue.

Differences from prior reviews: the club is now open 5 days a week, starting Tuesdays. At 8:00 some dancers were quoting floor dances at 5/10. They didn't get nude until 10 but was not offered any dances because by that time I was 2 hours in and danced out, being one of never more than 10 customers.

Beer seems cheap as when I ordered I noticed they had leftover Shipyard Pumpkinheads and the bartender then told me they were on sale: $3.00 for a strip club beer; wow. Dancers ranged from a low of 4, to a high of 8.. Maybe 5 eights and 10 6-7. About 90% seemed like local all-american rural girls. 100% were sweet, friendly, no tude and smiling.
