What is happening here?!

Stopped by for the first time in a bit a few weeks ago and I was surprisingly disappointed with my experience. I’ve been here many times before as I attended university just down the road, and this place couldn’t be more different than it was even just a few years ago.

Overall, the club is nice. Probably on the nicer end of all the clubs I’ve visited. That list is between 10-15 locations long and includes some in major cities. It’s generally clean and the clientele isn’t ever anything to be overly worried about. Music was exactly what you’d expect to hear in a club nowadays, mix of a bit of everything.

My main and frankly only problem here is the staff. What used to be a major plus for this club has taken a wrong turn and jumped to light speed in the wrong direction. The DJs are obnoxious, the waitress hound you trying to sling the overpriced dancer drinks, and the girls on stage and roaming the floor couldn’t have possibly been less interested in the patrons. There was a group of 5-6 college students in the middle of the floor that attracted quite a bit of attention from 4-5 of the dancers. Beyond that, the others simply sat at the bar or in the empty VIP couches around the outside of the floor all with their faces stuck in a cell phone.
